Grade 3 Expo
Last week the Grade 3’s had an Expo of their favourite celebrations. Each child made an artefact box which included symbols of their chosen celebration, along with an explanation of its history and why it is important to them. This is a photo of Grade 3J proudly showing their artefact boxes. There were examples of Christmas, Diwali, Birthdays, Weddings, Anzac Day, Sri Lankan New Year, Eid and Ramadan. Which celebration is your favourite?

I chose Eid because I celebrate Eid. My favourite part was eating food the parents brang lots of traditional food my favourite food is the pizza.

On the 26th of November we had a expo and they were different kind of food that people brang foods for different culture. We had a picture and we holded our boxes for parents to take pictures of us. We ate outside after we chose the foods that parents and some children brang.:)

My favourite celebration is Christmas because you get more presents then Birthdays.

Dear Mr Jarred,
The celebration I chosed was Holi I chosed Holi because my family celebrates it really well. My favourite part in the Expo was the displays of the boxes.

I did Christmas, and I put alot of things in my box. My favourite out of all the boxes is Delaney’s. She is from 3C. She also did Christmas. There was lots of food there I bought in chocolate mud cake and white chocolate mud cake. I don’t really have a favourite food because all the food that I had was good.

I enjoyed the expo ALOT!
The food was the best…
I managed to fit 6 plates of food into my stomach!
I worked on my artefact box with Hayden.
The celebration that was my favorite was: CHRISTMAS!

I really liked the expo. I did Anzac day. I am in year 3J. I had a lot of people come up to mine and they asked me a lot of questions. I was next to James who was doing Christmas and Jalal who was doing EID. I really loved the expo and especially trying different food.

When I went to the expo I saw Heli , Anu , Dinara , Ruthvika and karen. At the expo I did about Eid. I did about Eid because I only celebrate Eid and Ramadan. When it was time to eat I had some german biscuits, some crackers, jam pancakes, Anzac biscuits and some cake. Yours sincerely, Jalal

I did Christmas for my box because it is going to be the next celebration and it is my favourite celebration. I saw lots of Christmas boxes.

My artifact box was about Christmas. I like Christmas because you get lots of presents. All of the boxes were so good. I think the best part of the expo was all the food! I hade fun at the Grade 3 expo.

At the grade 3 expo my celebration was birthday, and as in my birthday when I was little kid. I even had some photos of it. I had alot of food over at the expo. At lunch I even threw up so I had to go home. Jett took me to sick bay and me and Jett are friends 🙂 😉 bye

At the expo there was lots of food and I saw Ethan and I met Ethan’s Mum. I had biscuits.

At the expo it was the best and also it was the best lunch in all the years at school !!!!!

on the day the expo was on all the gread 3 went to all the callsrooms and did fun games then we had lunch.

The expo was the best because there were lots of family and other boxes. I really like the food as well.

the expo was a fantastic time. alot of pearents came with food. my mum made pies. People came to see my box.
