3J Getting Ready for the Grade 3 Expo
The Grade 3 Expo is being held next Wednesday, 26th November. These students have prepared their artefact boxes on a celebration of their choice. Jasmine and Alysha are doing Christmas, Anu is doing the Sri Lankan New Year, Heli is doing Diwali and Alana is doing Anzac Day. What celebration are you doing?

The Celebration I am doing is Christmas.
I like Alana’s box.
It has stuff from the war! I’m surprised it still looks pretty clean, especially when it’s from 1914-1918.

The celebration I have chosen is Eid because I celebrate it.I dont think I’m bringing food to the Expo

The celebration I’ve chosen is Christmas,
but I also love Alana’s war stuff from Anzac Day because it looks so cool. Anyway I love war stuff!

For my box I did Christmas because it is my favourite celebration. Lots of people did Christmas. I didn’t put anything in my box because I had nothing so I decorated the outside.

I am looking forward to the expo. I am bringing my artefact in and I am bringing food in. It is next week and I am doing it on Christmas.

I am doing my project on my Mum and Dad’s wedding. I don’t now if I’m bringing any food and I don’t really want to share it if you know what I mean!

I don’t know what food to bring to the expo so maybe I won’t bring any food.
My celebration is Christmas. I made Frosty the snowman but without a hat.

I can’t wait until the Year 3 expo. Our inquiry topic is celebrations. My celebration is Sri Lankan New Year. It is celebrating the new year in Sri Lanka.
